Josiah Celebrates Ten Years with Broadreach

Petrin joined Broadreach in May of 2015 as an apprentice. Now, as a Senior Client Manager, Petrin leads work for a wide range of corporate and nonprofit clients and government agencies. He also plays a key role in leading Broadreach’s crisis communications work, serving clients with insight, steadiness, and care when they need it most.

“From day one, Josiah brought heart, drive, and humility to his work—and he’s never let up. Ten years later, he’s not just part of the team; he’s part of the Broadreach story,” said Linda Varrell, Founder and President of Broadreach Public Relations. “His rise to Senior Client Manager reflects both his talent and the strength of our culture. Josiah’s growth is the blueprint for what Broadreach is all about—developing leaders from within, living our values, and building structure through EOS.”

With a natural mastery of project management, the media landscape, and what to do under pressure, Petrin’s consistent loyalty, patience, and ability to stay calm and collected, continue to elevate the Broadreach team.

Petrin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern Maine and holds his Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Crisis Communication Certificate. He has been honored as a Rising Star by Maine Public Relations Council (MPRC) and received several Golden Arrow awards from MPRC for his excellent work.

When away from the office, Josiah spends his time with his wife, young daughter, Fancy the super-beagle, and three mini Nigerian goats!
