Case Study: Growing the New England Craft Brew Summit From Launch to 10-Year Milestone

In 2016, the Guild identified a critical gap: the absence of a credible, industry-led forum to convene brewers and advance best practices. Broadreach operationalized that vision, providing the strategic direction and execution leadership that brought the New England Craft Brew Summit to life and positioned the Guild as a regional center of gravity and thought leader.

Broadreach provides end-to-end support that the Guild needs to bring the event to life, including but not limited to event logistics, vendor coordination, registration, attendee communications, exhibitor and sponsor support, agenda development, on-site coordination, and post-event reporting.

The firm negotiated acquisition of the event name, branding and website from a prior unsuccessful effort and provides the strategic direction and on-the-ground execution to define positioning, secure sponsors, shape the program and driving stakeholder and media engagement.

The inaugural conference drew 480 attendees from 67 breweries across 13 states, beating the Guild’s goals and validating it as a must-attend industry event. It featured 17 workshops and high-profile keynote speakers, generated $29,000 in sponsorships and secured extensive media coverage, delivering more than 219 million impressions.

Now in its 10th year, the conference continues to deliver value to brewers while reinforcing the Guild’s role as a regional convening authority and industry leader. Sponsorship revenue has more than doubled; the summit has moved to a larger venue, and it continues to earn local and industry media coverage that keeps reinforcing the Guild’s strong position.
