Anson Students Get Lesson in Disabilities Awareness



Students at Garrett Schenck Elementary in Anson got a first-hand lesson in disabilities awareness Wednesday from the Cromwell Center, a Portland-based disabilities awareness organization.
“We heard about the Cromwell Center and we thought that would be a great way to bring that message to our kids and reinforce that with them,” said principal Jean Butler. Kids were surprised to learn that some of the world’s most successful people have disabilities.
