Seasoned Communications Strategist and Public Affairs Pro Joins Broadreach Public Relations

Jason Sulham to lead strategy development and build out public affairs offerings for firm


PORTLAND, ME (October 9, 2015) – Broadreach Public Relations, an award-winning strategic communications firm located in Portland, Maine's historic waterfront district, has announced that Jason Sulham, a talented communications strategist and accomplished public affairs professional, has joined the firm in the position of Senior Strategist. In this position, Sulham will lead the firm’s development of client project strategy and help support Broadreach’s learning environment, mentoring junior staff, including interns and apprentices.

In addition to leading strategy development, Sulham will also help shape and build out Broadreach’s public affairs offerings, leveraging his substantial experience in the areas of issues management and community relations.

Sulham, originally from Yarmouth, has worked extensively on high-profile strategic communications efforts from New England to North Carolina for close to two decades. Prior to joining Broadreach, Sulham founded North Public Affairs and has directed projects for a diverse list of clients that include corporations and non-profit organizations of international prominence, as well as numerous federal, state, and local electoral campaigns and issue advocacy initiatives. Other experience includes work with the United States Congress, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the New Hampshire Legislature and the Massachusetts Department of Education.

Sulham graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Active in his community, he is on the board of directors of Community Partners, Inc. which provides services to Mainers with intellectual and other developmental disabilities, and autism. He lives in Cumberland, Maine with his wife, Katie, and their son, Henry.
