SACO, Maine (September 3, 2014) – Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution (SBSI) announces promotions of six employees and welcomes five tellers.
Melissa Boilard, of Biddeford, has been promoted to HR Generalist. Boilard, formerly an assistant branch manager at the main office in Saco, joined the bank in 1997 as a teller in Scarborough. She also held various other positions at SBSI, including Customer Service Representative, Teller Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President.
Shawn Walton, also of Biddeford, will be taking Boilard’s previous position as assistant branch manager at the bank’s Saco location. Most recently a Customer Relationship Officer at the main office, he started his career in banking fourteen years ago at Saco & Biddeford Savings. Walton recently earned his advanced Supervisor Certificate from CFTEA.
“Melissa and Shawn have both shown strong leadership and growth within the bank. They exemplify our mission to remain customer-focused and meet the ever changing needs of the community,” said Kevin Savage, President and CEO of SBSI.
The following individuals have also recently been promoted:
-Mary Jane Sawyer, of Saco, has been promoted to Customer Relationship Officer in the Saco branch. Sawyer has been with the bank for ten years.
-Sarah Gonneville, of Saco, has been promoted to Customer Relationship Associate in the South Portland branch. Gonneville has been with the bank since 2012.
-Wendy Daigle, of Saco, has been promoted to Customer Relationship Associate, in the Saco branch. Diagle has been with the bank since 2008.
-Kathleen Williamson, of Old Orchard Beach, has been promoted to Customer Relationship Associate in the Saco branch. Williamson joined the bank in 2011.
SBSI recently welcomed five new tellers, including Kevin Gwinn, Alison Meehan, Anne Hensley and Marlina Weiss as full-time tellers, as well as Ethan Bergeron as a part-time teller.
