Maine Center for Creativity hosts Rockland entrepreneur for business growth discussion on June 18 Shannon Kinney of Rockland’s Dream Local Digital welcomed to Portland for “Lessons in Entrepreneurship”

PORTLAND, Maine (June 4, 2014)—The Maine Center for Creativity (MCC) announced this week that acclaimed Rockland entrepreneur Shannon Kinney will give a talk on incorporating one’s passion into business and the entrepreneurial spirit at One Longfellow Square, Wednesday June 18 at 4:30pm.
  
Founder and Client Success Officer of Dream Local Digital, a digital marketing agency based in Rockland, Maine, Kinney is well-known for the success of her company as well as being a leading voice on entrepreneurship and digital marketing. Kinney will highlight the Dream Local Digital story, from startup to providing online marketing services to hundreds of clients nationally. Specifically, the presentation will explore the importance of developing a company culture steeped in the company’s core values.

As part of MCC’s Creative Toolbox series, “Lessons in Entrepreneurship: Pursuing Your Passion” dovetails with the weeklong programming of Maine Startup and Create Week by showcasing Maine’s innovation and entrepreneurial culture and offering support and insight to new startups.

The seminar is geared toward creative thinkers, business leaders, and entrepreneurs. Pricing for non-members is $35, though attendees can become a member of the Maine Center for Creativity for the price of admission and receive their first seminar free. Admission is $15 for MCC members and students with valid student ID; USM students are free.
