Colors fade, templates crumble,
empires fall, but wise words endure.
PORTLAND, Maine (Sept. 13, 2013) – Hydro International, a global manufacturer of products for the management and treatment of water, wastewater and stormwater with U.S. Stormwater headquarters in Portland has been named to the 2013 Best Places to Work in Maine list. The firm shares the distinction with 41 other companies and is one of only two engineering companies to make the list.
Best Places to Work in Maine was created in 2006 to recognize companies that have established and consistently fostered outstanding workplace environments. The program promotes a long-term initiative to encourage growth and excellence throughout Maine companies. To be considered for the list companies must complete a two-phase evaluation that includes examining policies, practices and demographics, and conducting employee surveys.
“We have a team of smart and passionate employees who make the company a wonderful place to work,” commented Steve Hides, President of Hydro International’s US Stormwater and US Wastewater divisions. “We’re excited and honored to be recognized for our positive work environment.”
Hydro International will be recognized and honored at the Best Places to Work in Maine awards ceremony on October 10th and will be profiled in a special publication by Mainebiz. The final rankings will be announced at the event.
