Cheap Thrills Chute-out at the Camden Snow Bowl

The U.S. National Toboggan Championships - as much about fun as about competition - take place Friday through Sunday at the Camden Snow Bowl. Competition takes place on Saturday and Sunday. This being the 20th anniversary of the championships, there will be a special race to crown a four-person team as World Toboggan Champions. There are also a number of events associated with the toboggan championships, including pancake breakfasts, a chili and chowder challenge, performances by comedian Bob Marley and more. Please note: Parking at the Snow Bowl is limited. You are encouraged to park in town and take a free shuttle to the event.
When: Various times Friday through Sunday (competition runs begin at 8 a.m. Saturday)
Where: Camden Snow Bowl, 20 Barnestown Road (related events at various locations)
How much: It's free to watch the championships; $5 to park at the Snow Bowl. Various fees for associated events.
