PORTLAND, Maine (August 19, 2010) -Sean O'Hare, CPA of O'Hare Associates CPAs has been named president of the Maine Society of CPA's (MSCPA) for a 2 year term. Sean is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Maine and Massachusetts and has been a member of the MSCPA since 1996 where he has served in a variety of roles including treasurer and president elect.

As a Personal Financial Specialist, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, and working toward becoming a Certified College Planning Specialist, Sean has helped many Portland-area organizations and individuals solve financial challenges and meet business goals for more than 16 years. O'Hare Associates provides accounting, business advisory, tax, and financial planning services to its clients.

He earned his Associates in Business Administration from Schenectady County Community College, his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The College of Saint Rose, and his Master of Science in Taxation from Thomas College. His work in the community includes Past - Treasurer for the South Portland/Cape Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer for the SMCC Foundation Board of Directors and active in other civic groups.

Lewiston, MAINE (August 13, 2010) - As part of its commitment to social responsibility and concern for its community, Northeast Bank has donated $500 to Common Ties Mental Health Services located in Lewiston.

Common Ties will put the donated money towards a new project which aims to increase access to preventive dental care and promotes the idea that every person should have a "dental home."

"This new program will help fund materials and dental services for our clients," said Lisa Dumont, Director of Business Operations at Common Ties. "We are so thankful for Northeast Bank's contribution which helps us support extraordinary lives."

Common Ties Mental Health Services is located in Lewiston and specializes in the hopeful journey of recovery and wellness for our community's families, neighbors and friends who experience a mental illness. Lewiston, MAINE (August 06, 2010) - As part of its commitment to social responsibility and concern for its community, Northeast Bank has donated $1,500 to Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services located in Lewiston.

Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services, which specializes in early childhood education and intervention gratefully, received the donation, which will fund a playground shading structure at their new 72 Strawberry Avenue location in Lewiston. The new facility opens officially on September 1st.

"Northeast Bank has been so supportive of us throughout the years and we appreciate it so much," said Charlene O'Clair, Director of Finance at Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services.

The philosophy upheld by the program is that every child, regardless of ability or disability, is entitled to be included with all children in accessing childhood programming. As a family-centered preschool, Sandcastle offers year round preschool and Pre-K classes.
